Guatemala Mission
Our outreach to El Carmen, Guatemala
El Carmen Mission is nestled in a mountainous village in southeast Guatemala, home to approximately 1,200 resilient residents. Many have migrated here to thrive in the coffee bean harvesting industry.
Since 2022, our annual summer mission trip has passionately focused on sharing Jesus' love with our brothers and sisters in this underserved area. We engage in vital home repairs, meaningful home visits, provide essential health and school supplies, and bring the Good News of Jesus through vibrant Bible school and daily Mass. Each contribution we receive fuels our mission to uplift this community.
We are earnestly praying and rallying support for the additional funding needed to complete a new church building for El Carmen. The current church, too small and facing structural challenges, has served faithfully but is in need of renewal. With half of the church construction funded through generous private donations, we envision a new space that will spiritually uplift the region and foster economic stability, inviting many to El Carmen for worship events.
