Here, you will have the opportunity to contact a member of our staff or to link with other sites in the Universal Church.  As a priest of Jesus Christ and as pastor, I intend to lead our parish in union with the Holy Father, Pope Francis and our diocesan shepherd, Bishop Peter J. Jugis, J.C.D.

Faith Formation Director.

The Catholic parish of St. Vincent de Paul in Charlotte, NC, is seeking applications for a full time position as Director of Faith Formation. The Director is responsible for all elements of the Faith Formation program for grades K through 9, preparation for First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation. In collaboration with the Pastor, the director also organizes an adult program for parents during Faith Formation sessions.  This position reports directly to the Pastor.  

Be a believing, practicing and knowledgeable Catholic, in good standing with the Catholic Church and committed to the authentic teaching of the Catholic faith

  • Degree in Religious Education or equivalent experience
  • Be self-motivated and possess strong evangelization and catechists skills
  • Have excellent written & oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite,  Church Office Management (PDS software a plus)
  • Some evening and weekend hours…Tuesday evening and Sunday
  • Previous Faith Formation experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of the following Curriculum:
    1. Faith and Life from Ignatius Press
    2. Theology of the Body
    3. Baltimore Catechism

Preschool Teacher

St. Vincent de Paul Preschool is seeking a lead teacher for a

Part-time position to work Monday through Friday beginning in August 2018. Ideal candidate must be warm, friendly and flexible.

Experience teaching preschool is required and Early Childhood Education coursework is preferred. Responsibilities include educating the whole child, planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, coordinating plans with other teachers, and communicating regularly with parents. Interested candidates may submit a resume to:

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 11:40am - 12 noon
Saturday 3:20pm - 4:45pm, Sunday 4:20pm - 4:45pm

Monday-Saturday 9:40am
