Welcome to St. Vincent de Paul

Welcome to our parish web site. The intent of this site is to provide parishioners and visitors information about our parish and our ministries. Here, you will have the opportunity to contact a member of our staff or to link with other sites in the Universal Church.

As a priest of Jesus Christ & as pastor, I intend to lead our parish in union with the Holy Father, Pope Francis and our diocesan shepherd, Bishop Peter J. Jugis, J.C.D.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything that I may be able to do for you. I am here to serve.

Welcome and may God Bless You.

Fr. Mark Lawlor,

Mission Statement

Guided by the Holy Spirit, the Parish of St. Vincent de Paul carries out Christ's mission of saving souls by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, providing a solid foundation rooted in the Truth and Traditions of our Catholic Faith, and creating a welcoming and caring community through acts of charity, acceptance, and thankful stewardship.

JESUS COMMISSIONED US TO "GO AND TEACH ALL NATIONS". Please prayerfully consider this important mission. What is a Catechist? The word "catechist literally means "to echo". A catechist echoes the word of God to his /her young disciples. We do not teach a subject , we teach a life-style...the Catholic-Christian, life-style. What qualification do I have to have to become a Catechist? if you are a faith-filled individual, enjoy being with children, are dedicated to the Catholic faith, and feel that God is calling you to get more may be just the person we are looking for. Do I need any training? Your training will depend on your background but all the material you need is available and easy to use. Once you have become familiar with the catechist manual, you can master this ministry. You will receive more than you give in terms of spiritual growth. Fees are waived for catechists with children in FF. You can also call Aida Tamayo at 704 554 1622 or email
