Welcome! ¡Bienvenidos!
Welcome to our parish web site. For some of us,
the technology regarding communication is simply amazing. At our web
page, parishioners and visitors may learn more about our parish and
our ministries. Here, you will have the opportunity to contact a
member of our staff or to link with other sites in the Universal
Church.
2005 was a year of a great transition in the Church. Pope John Paul
II was called from this life on April 2nd. I was a senior in High
School when he was elected by the College of Cardinals to succeed Pope
John Paul I in 1978. During his papacy of more than 26 years, Pope
John Paul II was a faithful pastor of the flock and he also left a
positive impression on the human family throughout the world. His many
writings will continue to inspire and teach us for many years to come.
I consider Pope John Paul II to be worthy of the title: John Paul the
Great. After prayers for guidance in the conclave, the cardinals
elected Pope Benedict XVI to the chair of St. Peter. As a priest of
the Body of Christ & as pastor, I intend to maintain our parish in
union with the Holy Father and to serve to the best of my ability.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything that I
may be able to do for you. I am here to serve.
Welcome and may God Bless You.
Fr. Mark Lawlor,
Pastor
