Teaching Position Available

St. Vincent de Paul Preschool is seeking lead teachers for part-time positions to work 3 or 5 days a week, beginning in August 2019. Ideal candidates must be warm, friendly and flexible. Experience teaching preschool is required and Early Childhood Education coursework is preferred. Responsibilities include planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, coordinating plans with other teachers, and communicating regularly with parents. Knights of Columbus Holy Hour

Luminaries of Holy Mary                                                   Come join us for the kickoff of the Luminaries of Holy Mary prayer group which began on May 16th at 10:00 a.m. and will meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month in the Assembly Room  in the Ministry Center. Come see how we can grow deeper in our faith by learning and living the Fatima message of peace and conversion. ACES Monday’s Bridge Group meets each Monday (except holidays) from 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Assembly Room.  Contact Mary O’Connor at 704-845-8622.

Join the ACES Seniors Club October 15-17 when we visit Nashville, Tennessee, “Home of Country Music,” for 3 days and 2 nights. Cost is $579.00/pp double occupancy or $599.00/pp single occupancy.  Cost includes transportation, hotel, tour(s) of the Grand Ole Opry, RCA Studio, Honky Tonks, Ryman Auditorium, Country Music Hall of Fame, Nashville Nightlife,and the Nashville Highlights Tour; as well as your breakfast and dinner. Registration forms and deposit of $300 due by July 5 with remaining balance due by August 19.   Checks payable to St Vincent Senior Club. We Need You!

We are in need of many new adult and teen Catechist volunteers for the 2019-2020 Faith Formation year. Catechist volunteers help in a number of ways—not just teaching! Assistant Catechists grade homework, monitor behavior, and give students one-on-one attention as needed. Teens help with childcare and the lower grade classrooms (great experience!). Whatever your gifts, skills, and comfort levels are, we would be overjoyed to have you join our team. You must be a practicing Catholic and living chastely according to your state in life and the laws of the Church. Faith Formation session times are listed below. We are especially in need of Assistant Catechists and Teens on Sunday Afternoons and Tuesday Evenings.

Sunday: 10:45 am-12:00 pm, 12:40 pm-1:55 pm

Tuesday: 6:15 pm-7:30 pm

Wednesday: 6:15 pm-7:30 pm
