Philosophy

The St. Vincent de Paul Preschool strives to enhance the social, emotional, spiritual, physical and creative skills of each child. We are dedicated to making these preschool years enjoyable and exciting so that each youngster will be prepared and eager to begin kindergarten.

Description

All of our classrooms are large, sunny, and filled with materials to inspire the interests of every child. Our class sizes vary from 12 to 16 children and are supervised at all times by one teacher and one assistant. We give witness to our Catholic Faith through the observance of Holy Days, Bible Study, and learning the Sign of the Cross, along with our daily prayers. Focus is always placed on the knowledge that we are all God's children. Weekly Spanish lessons are also given. Classroom tours are available by appointment with our director.

Admission Policy

In order to enter our preschool, a child must be either 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1st, and must be toilet trained.

Class Schedules

Our 2009-2010 program year will begin on September 8, 2009. Classes will end on May 27, 2010. Preschool hours are 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. All students are required to bring lunch. Our programs range from 2 days per week up to 5 days per week. There are limited openings available.

Fees

A registration fee of $75.00 plus one month's tuition per child are required at the time of enrollment. Both of these payments are non-refundable, and are necessary for the operation of the preschool program.
Our monthly tuitions for our 3 year old programs are: 2 days - $170.00; 3 days - $205.00. Our 4 year old program tuitions are: 3 days - $200.00; 5 days - $255.00. Fees vary from year to year. Please check with our director, Jan Bartels, for the current monthly tuition charges.

Registration

Students already enrolled in our program have priority registration, which begins in January for the following year. Siblings of students are also eligible to register at that time. Students on our waiting list will be notified in early February for enrollment. Any applicants after that time will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.
